ITF Taekwon-Do Instructor Business Success Training - Team Taekwon-Do

This looks like a blast and makes me wish I was still competing!

Team Taekwon-do is a new sport developed from traditional ITF Taekwon-do.

To bring more dynamics and crowd support to the sport, the group at Team Taekwon-Do has created a new format and new competition rules designed specifically for Team Taekwon-Do events.

Competitors wear colored uniforms (top only), white protection equipment, continuous timing, cumulative points, ect. are just some of basic characteristics of this new and highly attractive competition system.

International Team Taekwon-Do Federation is the official promoter of this new sport and all Team Taekwon-Do events are to be sanctioned by ITTF.

Our goal is to make Team Taekwon-Do a sport known around the world by helping continental and national organizations to progress in their countries and regions/continents they are active in. Team Taekwon-Do should become an internationally recognized sport. We will look for partnerships with various sport, educational, community, and military organizations in order to expand the idea of Team Taekwon-Do. Furthermore, we will try to establish a strategic cooperation with different ITF Taekwon-Do organizations in order to mutually promote the ITF sparring system. Strategic partnerships with companies will be established in order to realize our projects.

Recognition from behalf of SportAccord is a long term goal ITTF will be heading to.

We will bring up to date technology in Team Taekwon-Do in order to create modern sport events easily visible and followed by the Taekwon-Do public and general public. Close cooperation with different electronic and printed media will be encouraged in order to promote Team Taekwon-Do.

This is definitely worth checking out. I had the opportunity to watch one of the matches and I like the new format with 3 min rounds, a new fighter for every round, cumulative scoring (so all 5 fighters fight) and a new scoring system that allows competitors to make up points in a hurry with the right technique!
